Production Team

Kat Melton

Director

This is Kat’s third directing experience, the first being the
highly acclaimed Ride the Cyclone, produced at CHT in the 2024 Season. Kat is a
professional Theatrical Electrician, working for national tours, concerts and in-house
productions. Her first love remains working in community theatre, as she feels that
school and community theatres keep the performing arts alive and accessible to
everyone. When not directing, Kat can be found at home with her kids, at the barn
with her horses, or most likely in the light booth at CHT.

Ginger Ellis – Producer/Youth Coordinator 

Stage Management Team
Ginger is happy to be returning for A Christmas Carol again this year for what has become a CHT holiday tradition. She has enjoyed working alongside so many talented and dedicated cast and crew members, and hopes you enjoy the show and have a holiday season filled with joy.

Debra Ebersole

Costumer/Caroler
Debra has been a CHT volunteer for twenty three years. She has performed  on stage  in over thirty-five productions. This is her third year costuming for A Christmas Carol with her talented friend Tina. She sends many thanks  to friends and family for their support as she pursues her love of theatre.

Tina Johnson

Assistant Costumer

Tina Johnson has been costuming for CHT for many, many years! Tina is a retired teacher from Kent County and excited to work on this awesome costuming team for this production. Previous costuming credits include My Fair Lady, Ride the Cyclone, Charlie’s Aunt, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Coat, and many, many GRG productions. She lives in Church Hill with her husband, and works at the CHT office, in her spare time! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Cavin Alexandra Moore

Michelle Christopher

Michelle is happy to be returning for another year to wrangle the newest cast of A Christmas Carol.  Michelle has enjoyed being the stage manager for many years at CHT and this is her 5th year as Stage Manager for this wonderful production.  She is also the Treasurer for The Board for Church Hill Theatre as well as a wife and Mom.  Please enjoy the show and Happy Christmas!!

Scrooge
Oric just disembarked from the wild train ride that was Murder on the Orient Express and he is delighted to be back so soon to the Church Hill stage. It feels like it was a few centuries ago that Oric got his start in the theatre as the Big Bad Wolf in a children’s Christmas panto. “I am humbled, challenged and grateful for the chance to portray the iconic character of Scrooge.” O. Howard Mesick

Narrator

Howard began his community theatre “career” playing Bogle in Church Hill Theatre’s 2010 production of Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol.  Since then, he has appeared in several productions at CHT and the Garfield Center for the Arts, and has written several short plays performed at the Garfield Center’s annual Short Attention Span Theatre and Revolutionary Theatre events.  He lives in Dover, Delaware.

Bella Thomas

Ghost of Christmas Past

This is Bella’s 3rd performance of the Ghost of Christmas Past at Church Hill Theatre, and has loved being in Green Room Gang in the summers. She has been in 3 performances in GRG, and especially loved playing Ms. Hannigan in Annie Kids. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she enjoys being in it!

I am pleased to be treading the boards again at Church Hill Theatre after a brief hiatus. It is a wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season, especially working with my fellow The Great Gatsby alumni, Kat and Cavin.

Steve Atkinson

Ghost of Christmas Future

Steve is a photographer living in Chestertown, MD and owns a Gallery in Denton. After some study in Theatrical Arts in college he went to work in the technology field. By chance in late 2015 he was brought back to the theatre world by a friend from college, Bonnie Hill, and has been involved with many shows at Church Hill Theatre as photographer, Stage Manager, and occasionally on stage

David Laney

Bob Cratchit

This is David’s first appearance with Church Hill Theatre, and he is thrilled to take on the role of Bob Cratchit. A longtime admirer of Dickens’ timeless tale, David is honored to bring Cratchit’s warmth, humor, and resilience to the stage. This is his first performance since high school, 14 years ago. His past credits include Antonio in Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice and Julius Caesar in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar. When not performing, he enjoys volunteering with Young Life and his church and spending time with his wife and son (who are both also in the show!). He would like to thank his family and friends for their endless support and wishes everyone a joyful and spirited Christmas season.

Natalie Page Laney

Mrs. Cratchit

Natalie’s love for theatre started in childhood, and she continued acting throughout high school, participating in shows with The Gunston Players, Church Hill Theatre, and The Underground Actors. Her favorite role was “Fantine” in Les Misérables, and she also directed a production of Lend Me a Tenor. She received the Theatre Award when she graduated from The Gunston School. After over a decade off, she made her return to the stage last year as “The Nurse” in The Factory’s production of A Streetcar Named Desire. Last summer, she could be seen in Clue with Tred Avon Players as “The Cook” and “Singing Telegram Girl”. Natalie is stoked to share the stage with her husband and son for the first time and would like to give a shoutout to her dad for helping to run lines. #GOTEAM

Charlie Thomas

Fred/Dancer/Ensemble

Charlie is a young actor who has been in 14 shows at QACHS & CHT. He has been in A Christmas Carol four times as a caroler, the urchin boy, and in vignettes. He is happy to be in the show for his fifth time, and is excited about the new directors and where they are taking the story.

Tori Rosati

Belle/Dancer/Ensemble
Tori is delighted to be back on the Church Hill Theatre stage for her second production of A Christmas Carol. When she’s not at her day job, you can find Tori directing the Kent Island Troupers, a local children’s drama troupe, or hanging out with her family. Tori is excited to share the stage this year with her youngest daughter, Rooney, and Uncle Paul. Much love to Mike and Mum for the support, and Courtney for the carpooling.

Trevor Ayres

Trevor is an 18 year old boy who goes to Anne Arundel Community College as a cinema arts major, he was in the Bridges of Madison County last June, and he’d like to thank you for coming and wish you a merry Christmas.

Jenny Weiske

Belle’s Husband/Dancer/Ensemble 
Jenny is thrilled to be back onstage with Church Hill Theatre, and is grateful to the cast and crew for the warm welcome she received. She moved to the Eastern Shore to pursue a PhD in Marine Science after graduating from the University of Southern California with BAs in Biology and Theatre, and a Master’s in Marine Biology. While there, she performed in two original plays, as well as in performances of The Odyssey and Shakespeare’s A Winter’s Tale. Some of her favorite past roles include Marianne in Sense and Sensibility, Esther in Meet Me in St. Louis, Jacques in As You Like It, and the title role in Hamlet. Most recently, she appeared as Greta Ohlsson in Murder on the Orient Express, also with Church Hill.

Christine Wells

Woman 1/Ensemble

In her second Church Hill Theatre production, Christine loves dance, as she has choreographed Grease, Anything Goes, and Joseph for county high schools.  She cherished Footloose, and especially enjoys performing alongside her daughter.

Paul Dillien

Fezzwig

Paul has recently arrived from the UK and is thrilled to be on stage for the first time as Fezziwig! Although this is his first time onstage, he is no amateur to theater! He is busy building sets and props for the Kent Island Troupers! When he’s not building, he enjoys hanging out with his wife, and playing cornhole. Paul thanks his wife, his sister, and the amazing cast and crew for all of the support! He hopes you enjoy the show!!

Isabella McCauley

Martha Cratchit/Ensemble

 Isabella is an 8th grader at Centreville Middle School. She loves acting and enjoys every opportunity she gets to be on stage. Isabella’s past theater performances include Seussical the Musical with the Kent Island Theater Summer Camp program, High School Musical, Anastasia, Footloose, Murder on the Orient Express, and The Sound of Music with Church Hill Theater’s Green Room Gang, Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan with the QACHS theater program, and the 2023 and 2024 Church Hill Theater production of the A Christmas Carol. Isabella has also participated in Church Hill Theater’s B.A.S.K program in 2024 and 2025.
When not performing, Isabella enjoys horseback riding and competing in dressage showcases. She is also a drummer in Centreville Middle School’s band and performs with the school choir.

Haley Melton

Young Belle/Dancer/Ensemble

Haley goes to Kent Island High School and has been acting and working crew jobs beginning as a 7-year-old. She has appeared in a handful of shows including BASS and Green Room Gang shows. If not on stage acting, she can be found in the lighting booth doing sound or lights for another show. Sometimes she even has time to hang out with family and friends or go to work.

Aubrey Anderson

Boy Scrooge/Children’s Choir/Ensemble

Aubrey is a 5th grader with big dreams of becoming a Broadway star! You may have seen her on the CHT stage in the Green Room Gang productions of The Aristocats Kids (Mad Cat), Seussical Kids (JoJo), and Annie Kids (Pepper). She is so excited to be a part of A Christmas Carol for the first time! Aubrey wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Tiffany Ayres

Woman 2/Ensemble

Tiffany had so much fun doing Bridges of Madison County that she decided to come back for more. When she’s not working as a Special Educator at the Benedictine School, you can find her tap dancing in her kitchen.  Merry Christmas and enjoy the show!

Ryan Lockwood

Peter Cratchit 
This is Ryan’s very first show, and she is thrilled to be making her debut as Peter Cratchit! At 8 years old, she is excited to learn, grow, and gain experience on stage. She has loved being a part of this production and is looking forward to continuing to develop her acting skills in future roles. She would like to thank her family, friends, and castmates for all their support. Enjoy the show!

Leif Laney

Littlest Cratchit 

This is Leif’s very first play.  He is so excited to be a part of it that, at home, he has been singing “Christmas is coming! The goose is getting fat!” non-stop, and he has started calling his parents “Mommy Cratchit” and “Daddy Cratchit”.  Leif says, “I’m excited to be Littlest Cratchit in the play!”  Offstage, Leif’s favorite activities include soccer, gymnastics, and playing.  Leif says, “I like to talk, play with some of my toys, and if I’m hungry I eat my snacks.”  Leif would like to thank his Daddy and Mommy.  “Happy Birthday, Jesus!”

Rooney Rosati

Scripture Reader/Children’s Choir/Dancer/Ensemble 

Rooney, a 7th grader at STMS, is thrilled to be back on stage for her third year of A Christmas Carol! Previously, she could be seen as Dory (Finding Nemo), Garvin (Footloose), and Wanda June (Happy Birthday Wanda June). Besides  acting, you could find her baking and riding her bike. She thanks her family and her amazing cast and crew. Enjoy the show!!

Eleanore is returning to her role for the third year! She is an eleven-year-old student at Matapeake Elementary School and enjoys art and math.

Shae is a 5th grader at Sudlersville Middle School. Shae has been the soloist for A Christmas Carol since 2023. Shae played Toulouse in the play The Aristocats Kids in the GRG and also played Annie in the play Annie Kids with GRG.

Caroler Child/Children’s Choir/Ensemble

Emily is an 8th-grade student at Sudlersville Middle School and this is her third year in A Christmas Carol with CHT. She has performed with Green Room Gang, and was in Shrek Jr. and Willy Wonka at her school. She loves to sing and to be on stage. You can often find Emily reading, drawing, laughing with her friends, and enjoying time with family. Merry Christmas everyone!

Annabelle Robuck

I am absolutely thrilled with joy to appear in A Christmas Carol for the third year in a row! When I’m not bringing Victorian London to life onstage, I can be found doing drama for various other Theatres including NCHS, spreading cheer like a true holiday spirit. Previous adventures include Anastasia with the GRG and Tracks, which was the Thespian show at my high school. I wanna thank everyone who helped out with this festive journey and wish you all a Merry Christmas—may your nights be free of gnarly ghostly gatherings!

Dianne Shelton

Mrs. Fezziwig/Quartet/Ensemble

Dianne has been a part of Church Hill Theatre since 2024 when she first performed in We Had A Dream at the Chesapeake College on April 13, 2024. She played in A Christmas Carol, 2025, and was a stage crew/props master in My Fair Lady, Footloose, and August: Osage County. She was an assistant stage manager in Steel Magnolias. She gives Kudos to her retired USAF husband for his genuine support and encouragement during her past and recent theatre endeavors.

Daphne Klocek

Child in Street/Children’s Choir/Ensemble

Daphne is a 6th grade student at Centreville Middle School and this is her third year performing in A Christmas Carol. Daphne has participated in the Green Room Gang, as well as other musical and theatre performances across the Eastern Shore. When not acting, you can find Daphne singing with the CMS choir, marching with her colorguard troop, selling crafts at the Centreville and Kent Island Farmers Markets, or reading books.

Angelina Amalfitano

Angelina is thrilled to make her Church Hill Theater debut in this year’s production of A Christmas Carol. She is 11 years old and in the sixth grade and has been homeschooled her whole life, giving her plenty of time to pursue the many things she loves. This marks Angelina’s first time on stage and she couldn’t be more excited to join Church Hill Theatre’s  Holiday tradition.

Ellie Wells – Children’s Choir/Ensemble  In her fourth Church Hill Theatre show, Ellie Wells brings her Green Room Gang experience from Anastasia, Footloose, and The Sound of Music. She loves being backstage and performing alongside her wonderful theater friends.

Cecilia is a 6th grader at Kent School, where she participates in the school chorus. This is her second Church Hill Theatre production, she had 4 parts in the 2025 summer GRG production of The Sound of Music. She has fallen in love with acting through her participation in the winter and summer camps at Church Hill Theatre. She appreciates the cast for their hard work on this show, she is grateful for her theatre friends, and she thanks her parents for supporting her love of the theatre!

Presley Mourlas

Presley is a sixth grader at Stevensville Middle School. She enjoys playing soccer and basketball. This is Presley’s second year participating in A Christmas Carol. She is also part of the STMS choir and has done the Kent Island Theatre Summer Camp for three years. Presley is excited to perform in A Christmas Carol again!

Juanita (Nita) Wieczoreck

Nita is thrilled to be back on the boards in this year’s A Christmas Carol. The holiday season isn’t complete without CHT’s A Christmas Carol. Previous appearances at CHT include Ethel Thayer in On Golden Pond, the Inspector in The Game’s Afoot, and Madame Bathilde in Is He Dead?. Nita has also performed locally with Shore Shakespeare Company and the Garfield Center for the Arts. When not on stage, Nita can be found in the CHT office where she works as the Theater Business Manager. Nita lives in Quaker Neck with her three cats.
