CHT Fundraiser of Sept. 25th to feature elegant supper party and performance of The Burgundy Wine Mob
An elegant house party and a performance of The Burgundy Wine Mob are the main features of this year's fundraising event in support of the Church Hill Theatre. Taking place on the evening of Saturday, September 25th, attendees will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a light supper at one of three "chalets" before dashing off to The Bongo Bongo Club in Church Hill (CHT) to witness the Burgundy Wine Mob pull off a musical murder mystery. Your "chalet" hostesses are Julie Bedell, Lea Brooks and Roberta Lewin.
Step back into the 1940’s for an intriguing evening of pretense. Imagine you are visiting the home of the fabulously wealthy wine collectors, Munyman Fortune and his wife Cash. Be inadvertently drawn into their misadventure. Travel from our glamorous party to a rather shady nightclub where you may encounter some dangerous characters. Expose the villain if you can. But don’t pretend. You can really be there!
This is a dressy affair. The 1940’s is the period. Formal attire is encouraged though not required. Prizes will be given for the best dressed and the best detectives. Because of space limitations acceptance will be on a first-come, first-serve basis until theatre seating capacity has been reached.
The event is by invitation only and a donation to attend is $100 per person. Should you like to support CHT by being a part of this fun, unique and exciting fundraising event on September 25th, call the theatre office at 410-758-1331 to get on the mailing list for an invitation.
Hope to see you there for a fun and exciting night!
